Timothy R. Kent

Timothy R. Kent

Timothy R. Kent - Born to life March 13, 1950.  After a courageous battle with cancer, Tim passed away peacefully with his family at his side on February 24, 2014.  Tim now joins his father Edgar "Ed" Kent spiritually.  He leaves behind his loving mother Miriam (Kent) Sweeney, his brother Steve (Yeoung) Kent and sister Sue Kent (Cal) Achey.  Loving cousin of Rebecca (Mike Rouffa) and Briony (Warren Estes) Patterson. Special friend of Janice Shulman.  Tim worked his way to an executive position at US Bank where he retired after 37 years.  He enjoyed the many hours he spent at the bank with his colleagues and friends.  Travel was his passion, having toured the United States and Europe extensively.  One of his favorite getaways was the Kentucky Derby with friends.  Tim was involved with and supported the Cream City Foundation and North Shore Jaycees.  He always enjoyed time with his family and friends.  Tim had a generous heart and found pleasure in treating friends to dinner or buying them special gifts.  His sense of humor and thoughtfulness will be truly missed.  He was a genuine person without prejudice or pre-judgment.  He was a truly beautiful human being.  A celebration of Tim's life will take place on Saturday, March 1 at 3:00 PM at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church, 7845 N. River Road, River Hills.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Medical College of Wisconsin Eye Institute, 925 North 87th Street, Froedtert Hospital Campus, Milwaukee, WI 53226 or Marquette University Dental School, 1801 W. Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53233.
